Tudor walk

Recently, I went on a guided walk around part of Tudor London with some of my friends. We started at Chancery Lane and finished near St Paul’s. It was a wet and miserable day but we enjoyed the walk because it was exciting and enthralling.

There weren’t many Tudor buildings in this part of the city because most had been destroyed in the Great Fire of London.  The first Tudor building we saw had been turned into a Vodafone store. (I wonder how many wives Henry VIII would have had if he could have texted them when he needed a new one!!!) (more…)
